Thesis Writing
CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
We are a team of professionals who are quite specialized in providing all kinds of support to scholars during the whole process.
Conclusion synthesizes and interprets
In research, a finding is an empirical fact, based on data collected, that does not just rely on opinion (even if it is that of an expert); a conclusion synthesizes and interprets the finding and makes a reasoned judgment that corresponds to the finding. As Researcher, we write in the report as-it-is what finds after analysis. But in conclusions, add interpretations regarding data analysis results
The conclusion is the very last part of your thesis or dissertation. Its main purposes are to:
It clearly states the answer to the main research questions It summarizes and reflects on the research works It makes recommendations for future work on the topic It shows what new knowledge you have contributedThe conclusion is concise and engaging, aiming to leave the reader with a clear understanding of the main discovery or argument that your research has developed.
Discussion & lenth of conclusion
The conclusion contains similar elements to the discussion, and sometimes these two sections are combined, especially in shorter papers and journal articles, however in a thesis, it’s usual to include a final chapter that covers up your research and provides the reader a final impression of your work.
The conclusion chapter should be shorter and more general than the discussion. Instead of discussing specific results and interpreting the data in detail, here you make broad statements that sum up the most important insights of the research. The conclusion should not introduce new data, interpretations, or arguments. Depending on the type of thesis, the conclusion should typically be around five to seven % of the overall word count. An empirical scientific study will often have a short conclusion that concisely states the main findings and recommendations, while a humanities thesis might require more space to conclude its analysis and tie all the chapters together in an overall argument.
Answering the research questions
The conclusion begins from the main question that your thesis aimed to address. This is your final chance to show that you’ve done what you set out to do, so we make sure to formulate a clear, concise answer. No reputation of a list of all the results that you already discussed, but synthesize them into a final takeaway that the reader will remember.
Summarize on the research
The conclusion is an opportunity to remind the reader why you took the approach you did, what you expected to find, and how well the results matched your expectations. It should give an overview of the steps you took in conducting your research or building your argument. To avoid repetition, instead of just writing a summary of each chapter.
A conclusion is like the final chord in a song
Research Questions

No reputation of a list of all the results that you already discussed, but synthesize them into a final takeaway.
Make recommendations
Scholars might already have made recommendations for future research in the discussion, but the conclusion is a good place to elaborate and look ahead, considering the implications of your findings for theory and practice.
Making recommendations for further research
If you’re making recommendations for further research, be sure not to undermine your own work. Future studies might confirm, build on or enrich your conclusions, but they shouldn’t be required to complete them.
